His father Zal, the white hair prince of Persia who is brought up by "Simourgh" the wise and magical bird on top of the Ghaaf's mountain, and his Mother "Rodabeh" the princess of neighbourhood country.

Rostam was offered to become the King of Persia by people but he refused as he is not after fame or wealth.. his only aim is reach enlightment, and to reach the heights of humanity. To be closer to God, the ultimate human aim.
